It’s the finale of #NationalChocolateWeek and what a #SweetSunday it is! A perfect pud post Sunday lunch . . Jammie Choc Nibble Mousse!
What you need :
75g/2¾oz milk 75g/2¾oz whipping cream 40g/1½oz egg yolks 20g/¾oz caster sugar 165g/6oz dark chocolate 200g/7oz whipping cream
How to make :
Heat 75g of milk and 75g cream
Whisk together egg yolks and sugar until light and pale in colour
Pour a small amount of the heated milk and cream onto the sugared yolks and whisk, then return back to the pan and heat on a low number until mix has thickened
Pour onto chocolate
Leave to cool
Whisk up egg whites to form soft peaks and fold into chocolate mix
Put a tablespoon of mix into cupcake mound
Add 3/4 Jammie Choc Nibbs
Top with more mousse and set in fridge or freezer
