WESTFIELD School’s annual Easter egg decorating competition returned with leading chocolatier Sweetdreams Ltd, sponsoring this year’s prizes, as well as judging the event.
Sweetdreams Ltd, the creators behind Choc Nibbles and Chock Lick, are the event’s first ever sponsor, as the independent girls’ school takes the Easter competition to the next level.
Cathy Stephenson, director at the chocolate factory which supplies chocolates across the UK and Europe said: “I was delighted to be asked to judge this year’s Easter egg decorating competition alongside the Westfield Committee, and seriously impressed with the efforts made by everyone who took part.
“The annual event saw pupils and family members work extremely hard to make their festive creations stand out for the judges, and the winner and runners up really went that extra mile to make their creations the best of the best.”
The competition saw an overall winner and three runners up prizes awarded to a pupil from Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, all receiving a bundle of chocolate treats from Sweetdreams Ltd, including Choc Nibbles, Choc Lick and a selection of other chocolatey goodies just in time for Easter.
Mr Walker, head teacher at Westfield School, said: “Our annual Easter egg decorating competition brings friends and families together to get creative, and most importantly have fun.
“This year we were grateful to have Sweetdreams Ltd sponsor and help judge the event, and would like to thank everyone who got involved to help make this year’s competition the best yet.”
